RIDING LESSONS
Indarra Equestrian aims to provide a safe riding environment with qualified, professional staff so that you can enjoy your love of horses. You can choose either private or group lessons. Our group lessons are strictly limited to a maximum of 4 riders so that your learning experience is maximised. Lessons are available Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm.

MONDAY AFTERNOON RIDING

Description and Conditions
- The aim of Monday afternoon rides is to allow riders to practice skills learnt during lessons without the formality of a lesson. While an instructor will be present, riders will be encouraged to practice their riding independently. The role of the instructor will be to ensure safety and assist riders as appropriate.
- Half-hour group ride under supervision of riding instructor between 4pm and 6pm.
- To participate riders must have regular lessons at Indarra.
- Riders must reach a certain level of competency (as determined by an Indarra instructor) to participate in the Monday afternoon rides.
- Bookings required.
PRINCIPALS OF PRACTICAL RIDING

Description and Conditions
- To develop rider’s knowledge of the theory underpinning riding to complement their practical skills.
- Topics delivered include the rider’s seat, application of the aids, the coordination and effect of the aids, and the training scale.
- Topics will be individually tailored to reflect the skill level of riders and their personal goals.
- Sessions can also examine a rider’s goals and develop training plans.
- One-on-one coaching session either before or after riding lesson for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Sessions can be arranged as often as desired.
- Prior arrangement required.
